June Kassel plays an upright piano with felt between the hammers and the strings, so every note arrives soft. Around it she builds loops on an old tape machine, letting the hiss stay in.

Rooms Without Clocks was recorded in seven rooms of the same house, one piece per room. It is the record we put on when the office gets too loud.
